To erase the frown lines from between the brows, many people turn to Xeomin® cosmetic treatments. Coast Regenerative Medicine is pleased to offer Xeomin® injections to men and women residing in Southern California, including San Bernardino County, Orange County, Covina, San Diego, the Inland Empire, and other surrounding areas.
What is Xeomin®?
Xeomin® is a dermal injectable similar to Botox®. Xeomin® is not considered the exact same type of ‘filler’ as Botox® because Xeomin® treats muscle movement only, and has no effect on filling in lines and wrinkles that already exist.
Xeomin® has only one ingredient (botulinum toxin A), while the formula of Botox® includes several protective proteins surrounding the active molecule. This distinction in the formulation of Xeomin® makes it a somewhat purer form of the toxin used in both Botox® and Dysport®.
Though it can be used in several areas of the face, Xeomin® injections are primarily used to target the muscles in the forehead that cause the frown lines between the eyebrows, known as glabellar lines. It effectively reduces the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines for three to six months.
What Does Xeomin® Cost in Santa Ana, CA?
Xeomin® cost may vary from one patient to the next, depending on a number of contributing factors. Your personalized treatment plan will be discussed during your initial consultation and you’ll receive a more accurate total of your cost based on that plan.
Insurance companies rarely cover the cost of Xeomin® cosmetic treatments, so Coast Regenerative Medicine tries to keep treatments affordable for our patients. We offer complimentary consultations as well as financing options with CareCredit®.
How Does Xeomin® Work?
Like many of the other dermal injectables, Xeomin® is administered using very fine, tiny micro-needles. Xeomin® targets only the muscles, temporarily blocking muscle movement, specifically in the area between the eyebrows.
Xeomin® is also a neurotoxin such as Botox® and other dermal fillers, and when injected, it blocks the release of the chemicals that stimulate muscle contraction. It’s the repetitive action of the muscle contractions that, over time, cause lines and wrinkles to develop in the first place.
What Are the Benefits of Xeomin®?
There are several outstanding benefits of Xeomin® and most patients who undergo the treatment are delighted with their results. Some of most common benefits reported include:

- Significantly reduced frown lines between the eyebrows
- Diminished appearance of crow’s feet
